The Break Coffee & Surf Co. is a family-owned specialty coffee bar founded in 2022 by Belleair Bluffs natives Brice and Katarina Nardozzi. What began as a love for great coffee and laid-back surf-culture vibes has grown into a neighborhood gathering place inside Cosa Collective — a curated marketplace of more than 60 local vendors on Indian Rocks Road.
We serve handcrafted espresso drinks, house-made signature lattes, whisked matcha, smooth cold brew, and loose-leaf teas, alongside fresh pastries and seasonal specials that rotate throughout the year. Every drink is made to order by people who live just a few minutes from the bar — because we're neighbors first.
Who we're here for
Our shop is made for anyone who believes a coffee stop should feel like a break, not an errand. Locals from Belleair Bluffs, Clearwater, Largo, and the beaches stop by on the way to work, wander in while browsing the Cosa Collective vendors, or settle in on the garden patio for a slow morning. Visitors exploring the Pinellas County coast find us through word of mouth — usually tipped off about The Break, our signature espresso with salted caramel and orange, or Take Five, our strawberry matcha.
Whether you order ahead for pickup or stay long enough to meet half the neighborhood, you'll get the same thing: real ingredients, fair prices, and genuine conversation. We're open daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and we'd love to pour your next cup.
